Her passion came from a childhood where she would collect fashion and teen magazines, studying gorgeous makeup, skin, photography, and fashion. She turned to makeup to boost her self-confidence from years of being bullied for having a brown skin tone. Taura taught herself to do makeup by watching YouTube videos and practicing endlessly on herself, family and friends.
